Bury Black Pudding shortlisted for two awards at the Safety & Health Excellence Awards 2021

We are pleased to announce The Bury Black Pudding Company have been shortlisted for two awards at next year’s Safety & Health Excellent Awards, taking place at the Vox, Birmingham on 28th April 2021.
The two awards are ‘Best Health and Safety in Manufacturing’ and ‘HSM Rising Star’ with Andrew Donovan taking the finalist place along with 11 others.
It is Andrew Donovan, Health & Safety Officer at Bury Black Pudding that has got us to the finalist stages. His wealth of experience, knowledge and new processes has improved the safety systems throughout the business. Andrew’s passion, desire and determination brings the business to the forefront of health and safety within the food manufacturing industry.
Andrew Donovan had this to say; “I am proud to be nominated by the company directors for the ‘Rising Star’ in H&S award and to be shortlisted is amazing. To also to have the company shortlisted in the ‘Best Health and Safety in Manufacturing’ award is the icing on the cake. We have worked together over the past 14 months to improve safety within the workplace and have introduced many new checks and procedures to enable this to happen.”
