On Saturday 15th October, The Bury Black Pudding Company attended the Archies Awards 2022 held at the prestigious Hilton Metropole in Birmingham. The awards, organised by the UK Material Handling Association (UKMHA) and hosted by Mark Durden-Smith put on a spectacular event.

Richard Morris, Director at The Bury Black Pudding Companycollected the award and had this to say: "This is a fantastic achievement for our Health & Safety team managed by Andrew Donovan. Andrew is very passionate and knowledgeable about health and safety and has introduced a thorough and comprehensive safety management system, additional safety checks and risk assessments as well as develop a team of health & safety reps in all departments. The Health & Safety team have something to show for all the hard work they do on a daily basis here at our factory and I know this will encourage the business to look at other awards we could enter, we have a very talented team."
A proud Andrew Donovan said: "It's the first time we have entered the UKMHA Awards and to be nominated as a finalist felt like an achievement, but to win the category is a special moment for the team and the business. We were up against some very well-known companies, so we're really pleased to come back with the award. We are already looking at the next set of awards to enter for 2023 so watch this space."
